So The River was pretty good from last night*
The pilot episode wasn’t fantastic but enough to keep me interested into the second hour which was much better. Not A+ material, but had some honest attempts at genuinely scary moments and laid the groundwork well (I thought) for the last 6 episodes.
Plus, there was more Bruce Greenwood than I had previously guessed. Always a good thing.

New Job
As I alluded to a few days ago, an opportunity presented itself at work and I took it. It wasn’t easy, a lot of back and forth and two directors who fought over me really passionately, which is humbling I have to say. My current boss tried to keep me and used all of her cards at her disposal but my future new boss and myself argued persuasively to let me go and take over this position...

I know exactly what you mean. I signed up for tumblr just a few months after fb and as I got more into that, my fb usage waned at a steady rate...
