I just remembered that it’s because the Sens are doing great. The two sports teams I support the most without hesitation always do the opposite of each other.
In the 20 years since the Sens came back, the season-to-season comparison is spooky. When one does well, the other has a shite year and vice versa.

Spent tonight on TV catch up
Watched my 8 (!) shows from last night (because I was out with friends to see some stand up) and then FINALLY stuck into Downton Abbey.
Holy shit! I have no words on much I enjoy it already. Trying to resist the urge to pull an all-nighter to get through series 1.
On to episode 2 now…there was a good chance I wouldn’t like this and am pleasantly surprised at how much I do!

So this happened yesterday at my work. This is in fact the parking garage I park in so I had to abandon my car last night lest I be trapped in -22C weather idling in my car for hours to get out as the police took every single persons’ information.

Me: But it's just a cough, no fever or infection and I would prefer not to take the inhaler when I'm not having an attack.

I didn't make it back to Ottawa in time to get to...
So I’m having Subway and some chips from the convenience store.
I did however make a point to stop in Napanee on my drive to buy $65 worth of booze for my solo New Year’s Spectacular. But, I had to take some meds because my head is just spinning. Maybe booze will help? It must if I mix it with orange juice, yes? Yes. Thought so.
